#3 Roman Reigns takes down Braun Strowman at WWE Fastlane

After his split from the Wyatt family in the 2016 WWE Draft, Braun Strowman was pushed as a monster heel on RAW. He went on to have a six month undefeated streak, which actually seemed to extend for a much longer time since he would beat unknown jobbers during a large part of that initial run.

Others who faced Strowman's wrath included Sin Cara, Titus O'Neal and Sami Zayn. It seemed that nobody on the WWE roster could stop the Monster Among Men. Strowman was protected in the Survivor Series elimination match by being handed a count out elimination and was finally pushed on to the Universal title picture. He faced then-champion Kevin Owens in a title match, but won the match only by disqualification following an interference by Roman Reigns.

This led to a feud between Reigns and Strowman and the two were booked to face each other at Fastlane 2017. WWE wanted to push Reigns as the new John Cena who would take down monster heels and consequently Strowman found himself staring at the stars as Reigns beat him clean with a Spear.

Unlike most others in this list, Strowman's momentum did not drop. In fact, the crowd was so anti-Reigns that Strowman benefitted from the loss before going on to beat Reigns in two successive Pay per views. This set him up for a Universal title match against Brock Lesnar - but found himself failing to win the title on two occasions.
