#4 Former WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens is exemplified in WWE as a dangerous individual who is more than capable of destroying his opponent inside the ring. While these days the Canadian plays a more anti-heroic figure, as he enters the ring and channels his inner Stone Cold to hit a Stunner on whoever is inside the squared circle, he has always worked better as a heel.

On his first day as an NXT talent, Owens brutally attacked Sami Zayn and solidified his villainous nature. His debut on the main roster was similar, with him attacking John Cena in a callback to the latter's "Ruthless Aggression" debut.

Whether attacking Daniel Bryan after his emotional return announcement or betraying Chris Jericho, Owens has been part of numerous remarkable contemporary WWE moments as a heel.

#3 WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns has been a part of the main roster of WWE for 9 years. The two parts of his career fans fondly remember are his stint with The Shield and his current portrayal of The Tribal Chief alongside Paul Heyman, where he is a villainous WWE Universal Champion.

The interim part of his career was tainted by WWE trying to propel him to the top of the card as a face, with fans vehemently dismissing the proposal. When WWE finally tended to fan reaction, Reigns' comfort in playing the villain was observed, making fans wonder why WWE took half a decade to turn The Big Dog into The Head Of The Table.
