#4 Lars Sullivan vs. Brock Lesnar vs. Rusev

Ha ha, this match will never happen, I only have to defend this four times per year

Lars Sullivan:

Lars has become one of the most destructive forces in NXT in a very short amount of time. Surprisingly, Sullivan signed with the WWE back in 2013, but he didn't make his televised debut until April 2017, losing in tag team competition. His unstoppable run in singles competition began in September 2017, defeating three opponents in a three-on-one handicap match.

And after defeating the experienced Kassius Ohno at NXT TakeOver: WarGames last month, it's clear Lars Sullivan is getting a big push in WWE's developmental territory. Resemblances between this monster and 'The Beast' can be seen, but will he be 'The Next, Next Big Thing' in WWE?

Brock Lesnar:

The former UFC World Champion has come a long way since he was nicknamed 'The Next Big Thing' in the WWE. He's perhaps become the biggest thing in WWE and the entirety of sports entertainment. Paul Heyman is correct when he says any match Brock Lesnar competes in should be the main event.

There's the best in the world, then there's Brock Lesnar on a pedestal above that, on his own intensity level. Although opponents such as Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman and most recently AJ Styles, have given him scares, he always seems to be dominant.

Rusev:

Speaking of dominance, Rusev was undoubtedly one of the most dominant forces in the WWE between 2014 and 2016. In addition to his lengthy unbeaten run, he also held the United States Championship on two occasions, for a combined time of 270 days. Back then, I was hoping to see Brock Lesnar vs. Rusev, without knowing what the result would be.

And they did, in fact, compete at a live house show in August 2016, but by then it seemed Rusev's momentum had already taken a devastating blow. If Rusev can get back some of his killer instinct and mount another unbeatable run in the WWE, then 'The Bulgarian Brute' could again become a convincing challenger to 'The Beast'.

If they fought:

There's plenty of similarities between these three dominant superstars. It's almost looking at a time machine, Brock being the past, Rusev the present and Lars the future. Lars looks set to be on one hell of a run, which could result in him becoming the next big thing in WWE. Much like Rusev back in 2014 and Lesnar back in 2002.

There's one big difference though, Brock Lesnar has remained a constant force between now and then, compiling a list of accomplishments in the past 17 years that probably won't ever be replicated, from his amateur wrestling days, WWE, UFC and NJPW. Therefore, there's only one 'Beast' in the WWE and that is Brock Lesnar.

Result: Brock Lesnar win
