5 Dream matches WWE could have booked but didn't

#1 The Undertaker vs Sting: WrestleMania 31

Probably the biggest dream match to never happen!

The Phenom vs The Icon, a match that people have fantasized over for almost 2 decades became possible when Sting joined the WWE. Sting had been the top WCW guy all over the 90s and The Undertaker was always Vince Mcmahon's prized possession.

Apart from the fact that both of them were extraordinary athletes, there was some similarity in their characters. Both Superstars had a sense of mystery about their characters and were very good at playing mind games with their opponents to inflict fear in their minds even before the bell for the match rings. Both of them made the lights go out and suddenly appeared in the ring out of nowhere seeming to have dark powers. Hence, a match between The Stinger and The Deadman had been the match wrestling fans wanted to see for over 20 years.

Unfortunately, this was not the booked match at WrestleMania 31 as Sting faced Triple H and The Undertaker took on Bray Wyatt. But one thing is for sure, wrestling fans would never stop fantasizing about a bout between these two legends.
