The Rock and Shawn Michaels are two of the best ever to lace up a pair of boots and their paths not crossing in WWE is almost criminal. In the early 2000s or late 90s, which wrestling fan wouldn’t have wanted to see these two go at it at some point?
The matches would’ve been incredible, as would the promos, and many fans certainly feel aggrieved at not ever having seen this one. Both men are known for their strong connections with the audience, and both men were absolute geniuses when it came to selling a match, feud or opponent.
Either way, had this match happened years ago, it would almost certainly have been a match of the year candidate or better, and one to live on throughout the ages.
