Kingston could very well defy the odds on this occasion
Four years ago, Brock Lesnar and Kofi Kingston faced-off in a singles match in Japan. A match which more or less was a one-sided affair, given the brutality shown by 'The Beast Incarnate' who destroyed Kofi within minutes and then went on to toss around the rest of the New Day like ragdolls all across the ring in Japan.

However, with the recent resurgence of Kofi Kingston on SmackDown Live, one thing is now safe to say that WWE is finally starting to show their faith on Kingston once again and are all set to put a rocket behind his back and push him to the moon. So much so, that Kofi is now in a position to challenge for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35 as well.
With Kingston being recognized as a main event star once again, a match against Brock Lesnar later in the year will be everything the former Tag Team Champion needs. Given the heart and the passion that has been shown by Kingston so far in his journey back to the top, another instant classic featuring him and Lesnar could be almost guaranteed by this point.
