Since Kenny Omega's departure from NJPW, Jay White has replaced the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion as the top gaijin star of the promotion. White, who initially started out as a member of CHAOS, jumped ship to Bullet Club and joined the faction alongside Gedo and Jado, as 'The Switchblade' eventually became the leader of the group as well.

Under White's leadership, BC changed the landscape of NJPW once again as the group brought in several new members such as the likes of Robbie Eagles and El Phantasmo. 'Switchblade' Jay White even secured two massive victories to kick-start 2019, as he defeated both Okada and Tanahashi at Wrestle Kingdom 13 and New Beginning, respectively.
White also held the IWGP Heavyweight Title for a brief period this year, so you could imagine how quickly his stock has risen in NJPW. A match between him and Moxley could very well be the battle of NJPW's top foreign stars and considering both men have a thing for knives, it'll be interesting to keep an eye out for this dream match.
