This is a dream match made in sports entertainment heaven!
Daniel Bryan and Kenny Omega have faced one another in the independents. And yes, they had a fantastic match back then. Omega even spoke about the possibility of facing Bryan after his return from injury, not very long ago:

This is a quote from the 'With Spandex' podcast that Omega was interviewed for. I can see the two men putting on a match for the ages, if given the opportunity. Both men are exceptionally gifted and know how to tell a story.
If Bryan chooses to not continue with WWE, we could even see this match happen in New Japan someday. But a likelier possibility involves Omega coming to WWE.
