5 Epic ways WWE can shock everyone on SmackDown (11 September)

Who
Can WWE book this right?

After delivering an average episode with Monday Night Raw, WWE will divert their focus towards the blue brand, where apparently, things are beginning to heat up.

Many feuds have turned into personal animosities, and have been rightly booked without any attempt to overdo it. Since Hell in a Cell could indeed be a special outing for the company, the creative team have a lot of expectations to fulfill tonight.

With Monday Night Raw focusing more on the Shield, SmackDown Live could literally bring the house down tonight by bringing some compelling narrative to the front.

Four spectacular matches have been announced for the show tonight, with the pivotal one being Rusev Day Vs. The Bar to decide the No. 1 contender to New Day's Tag-Team Championships.

With Hell in a Cell just six days away, is there a way WWE could shock us tonight and make us more interested in tuning into the WWE Network? Let's find out.

Here are the 5 epic ways SmackDown Live can shock us tonight.

#5 Daniel Bryan's righteousness costs Brie Bella her match against Maryse

The Under
The Underdog is always an Underdog

Considering how special this feud can be, WWE must tap into Daniel Bryan's Underdog persona and put their best foot forward in order to invoke maximum interest from the audience.

With Brie Bella and Maryse scheduled to have a singles match tonight, there's no way this match ends without chaos around the ring.

Daniel Bryan's ongoing beef with the Miz has been fulfilling expectations, and both superstars could write another chapter in their rivalry tonight, where Miz's cowardly act coerces The Beard to stand for her wife.

His righteousness, however, must cost Brie Bella to lose the match, in order to garner more empathy. The It Couple are gravitating tremendous heat towards them, and through this cowardly act, this rivalry could really get the edge it needs for this Sunday.

#4 Shinsuke Nakamura announces a U.S. Open Challenge at Hell in a Cell

Thic
This could get interesting

After not showing up ever since his victory at SummerSlam over Jeff Hardy, WWE's Rockstar is finally scheduled to face the Charismatic Enigma in another gruesome contest tonight.

While he has not been booked for any significant feud, it would be a damn shame if the WWE does not decide to put Shinsuke Nakamura into a match at Hell in a Cell.

Since he possesses a prize that was made prestigious by John Cena, the King of Strong Style could also follow a similar path and announce a U.S. Championship Open Challenge at Hell in a Cell.

Considering that the title needs to be on the show, the intriguing factor of the open challenge could fit well with a heel like Nakamura holding the gold.

Superstars like Andrade 'Cien' Almas, Tye Dillinger, R-Truth, and Shelton Benjamin stand as credible contenders, and if provided with the right booking, this could be sensational further down the road too.

#3 Jeff Hardy delivers a Swanton bomb to Randy Orton from top of the stage

The Ch
The Charismatic Enigma is on fire lately

Randy Orton's obsession with Jeff Hardy could take another dark yet interesting turn tonight after the Charismatic Enigma is done fighting the King of Strong Style.

The Viper who is doing everything in his power to erase the object of his affection could seriously fall down to Jeff Hardy's high-flying mannerisms.

Since this bout is scheduled to be inside the barbaric Hell in a Cell, WWE needs to rejuvenate Jeff Hardy's earlier days, in order to tease what could be coming this Sunday.

With both superstars hell-bent on destroying each other's careers, the Charismatic Enigma could deliver a Swanton bomb off the stage to the Apex Predator and send a powerful statement.

Many fans are anticipating Jeff Hardy to do something extreme this Sunday, and while he might be up to something, the company needs to tease us tonight to garner more interest and anticipation for the PPV.

#2 Samoa Joe enters A.J. Styles house and destroys it completely

This ne
This needs to happen

If you're willing to make this rivalry into one of the greatest and compelling in recent times, then the company needs to go 'all in' with this one.

Samoa Joe's continuous tactics to get under A.J. Styles' skin have been pitch-perfect, and while he promised to enter the Phenomenal One's house last week, he ended up facing the wrath of the WWE Champion.

After being decimated by Styles', there's no way WWE would book the Destroyer to just cut a promo and brawl with the Phenomenal One to end the show.

A more viable and sensible way to end the Go-Home Episode would be to allow Joe to enter A.J. Styles' house and completely destroy it.

Having destroyed everything that A.J. Styles built, the Destroyer could vow to take away the WWE Championship and destroy the blue brand, just like he decimated Styles' house.

This could get more intriguing tonight, and if WWE are able to channel the same path, then we could be in for a phenomenal encounter this Sunday.

#1 Becky Lynch decimates Ric Flair and vows to take Charlotte to hell with her

S
Stone Cold Becky Lynch

Possibly the most intriguing storyline on WWE at the moment, Becky Lynch has finally ascended to the top of the women's division, where she rightfully belonged since day one.

After scratching and clawing her way to reach that brass ring, Charlotte's interruption has acted as a tough roadblock on her road to greatness.

Since this feud has become so personal, WWE have a brilliant opportunity here to turn this into one of the greatest feuds in recent memory.

A situation where Ric Flair returns to the blue brand and gives his prediction for Sunday, the Relentless Becky could interrupt the Nature Boy and make an example out of him.

Such a path could gravitate more attention to the feud, and make Lynch an ever more compelling heel, as far as creative direction is concerned.

With WWE pushing Charlotte as the babyface in this one, beating down her father and vowing to take her to hell this Sunday could make for some brilliant television.
