The Authors of Pain had an explosive start on the main roster, only to fade away slowly.
A great way to revitalize the Authors of Pain would be to team them up with another monster in his own right, Samoa Joe. The Resident Destroyer of WWE, Samoa Joe could be the proper foil for the Authors of Pain.
After Paul Ellering left the role of AOP's mouthpiece, they struggled to get over with the WWE Universe. AOP joining forces with the Samoan Submission Machine will help them to properly introduce themselves to the WWE Universe.
AOP and Joe have joined forces before during their time in NXT, and the group had the killer instinct.
Hopefully, AOP are given a mouthpiece sooner rather than later, or else they could go down the path Ascension did.
