5 fan chants you might have missed during WWE SmackDown Live (November 07, 2017)

mA
Manchester had a great crowd for SmackDown

The WWE Universe is always on fire when the Superstars take the show to Europe. The Manchester crowd was hot all night and they were incredibly inventive in the process.

Throughout the night, the audience in attendance wasn't shy about letting go with some great chants in the general direction of the action in the ring.

So, without any further ado, let's take a look at 5 chants you might have missed.

#1 Becky's Gonna Kill You and Hey Becky!

Becky Ly
Becky Lynch was on fire in Manchester

Everyone wanted to see Becky Lynch destroy James Ellsworth on SmackDown Live. Although she didn't absolutely demolish The Chinless Wonder, she still did very well and ended up winning when all was said and done.

Even before the two locked up, the Manchester crowd was chanting "Becky's gonna kill you" in James Ellsworth's general direction. It was a very good word of warning seeing how seriously dangerous Becky Lynch can be.

There was also a nice little variation of the "Hey Bayley" sing-song chant where the crowd substituted Bayley's name with Becky Lynch's. That was a great addition to the match which illustrated the creativity of this live crowd.

#2 Shane-O Mac

Peo
People love still love Shane McMahon

People love Shane McMahon. All it took was for Vince McMahon's baby boy to come strutting out and the people in Manchester went ballistic for him.

Chants of "Shane-O Mac" filled the arena and popped up several more times during his segment. Although his tactics to gain an upper hand against Raw were ruthless, McMahon is still a super babyface on WWE's blue team.

After all, he's given a lot to the fans and they obviously appreciate that fact as well. It also helped that he got down with The New Day.

#3 New Day Rocks!

New Day
The New Day still rocks!

The New Day is incredibly popular with the SmackDown Live audience. One night after the longest-running WWE Tag Team Champions interfered in Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose's match and cost them the Raw Tag Team Championships, they were regarded as heroes on the blue brand.

"New Day Rocks" was an incredibly popular chant the entire time Woods, Big E, and Kingston were on the show. The ferocity of the crowd's chants even caused Shane McMahon to take a beat and let the chants carry on for a bit. There's a certain art to delivering a promo through chants that you don't want to kill off.

The New Day continue to be among the best acts on SmackDown Live, and as they look forward to a possible match against The Shield at Survivor Series, it doesn't look like they're going to slow down too much at all.

#4 Rusev Day

It
It was Rusev Day, but Randy Orton didn't seem to care

As much as WWE may try to book Rusev as a repulsive heel that everyone hates, it's still Rusev Day every day. Rusev was trying hard to get a spot on the men's Survivor Series Elimination match for Team SmackDown but he had to go through "The Viper" Randy Orton.

AJ Styles was supposed to face Rusev but those plans were obviously changed. However, just because AJ Styles' role at Survivor Series changed, it didn't mean Rusev got the spot. All it took was one RKO out of nowhere and Rusev was down for the count of three.

Even though Rusev was on the losing side of the equation, it didn't stop the Rusev Day chants from ringing out in the building during his match. People really seem to be latching onto Rusev and Aiden English's gimmick.

#5 Ole and Kevin Owens

The
These two are incredibly entertaining

A lot of people think that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are two of the best performers on SmackDown Live. It turns out this is a rather popular opinion, especially in Manchester.

When Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn showed up on the entrance ramp there were plenty of "Ole" chants directed at Sami Zayn. It's been a long time since we heard an old-fashioned "ole" chant.

On the same token, the crowd also broke out into several "Kevin Owens" chants and it was quite incredible to hear as well. Although these two old friends are playing heels on television, it looks like they're having a ton of fun in the process.
