Bobby Lashley made his debut in WWE in 2004. He was handpicked by Vince McMahon and was described as 'The Chosen One'. He has held the United States Championship once. Lashley had a great run as the ECW Champion and was soon made the face of the brand.
His run with Donald Trump and The McMahons was the highlight point of 2007. Unfortunately, WWE could not book him as the star he was supposed to be, and thus was released a year later.

There are rumours flying around that Lashley is set to sign to sign a contract with the WWE. If that actually happens, the WWE Universe would love to see him showcase his agility and dominate everyone put in front of him.

#5 Shane McMahon
Shane McMahon is a fourth generation wrestling promoter as a member of the McMahon family. McMahon has been a referee, producer, announcer, and eventually a wrestler on-screen, while also becoming WWE's Executive Vice President of Global Media behind the scenes.
Shane has never hesitated to get his hands dirty in the ring. He's shown over the years that he's not afraid to take bumps just like actual wrestlers do. At WrestleMania 32 and 33, he faced The Undertaker and AJ Styles respectively. Despite not being an actual wrestler, Shane O'Mac has excelled in all his performances in WWE.
Shane had a huge high-profile rivalry with Bobby Lashley which also involved his father Vince McMahon, Umaga and Donald Trump. Lashley defeated Umaga at WrestleMania 23, which led to Mr McMahon getting his hair shaved off.

John Cena has been the face of the WWE for over 10 years. There is nothing Cena hasn't achieved in his 15-year career in the company. A 16-time World Champion, he will surely go down as one of the best WWE superstars of all time.
He has faced legends and Hall of Famers like Shawn Michaels, The Rock, and Edge among others. He is rumoured to have a 'Once in a Lifetime' match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 34.
The Cenation Leader has always proclaimed that the future of WWE goes through him. There is no better way to bring Bobby Lashley than by feuding with Cena. The two have proved time and again why they are much adored by the fans.
Lashley needs to go one up on Cena to get him over with the WWE Universe. Anyway, Cena has nothing to lose as he's one of the most accomplished performers in history.
#3 Samoa Joe
Samoa Joe's debut in WWE was a highly anticipated one. He was already a renowned face in the wrestling business worldwide. The Destroyer had a great year on Monday Night Raw after having two noteworthy feuds with Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. However, his push was short-lived as he was sidelined due to a foot injury.
The Submission Specialist is expected to return to the ring very soon. He needs a prominent storyline to set him up as the monstrous heel that he was destined to be.

Even at 48, Triple H can still wrestle like he hasn't missed a beat in years. "The Game" has been putting younger talent over for years now. Wrestlers like Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins became a huge sensation after they beat The King of Kings at the Show of Immortals.

#1 Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns is the 'Chosen One'. Over the years, Reigns has gone on to become the face of WWE. Barely six years in the company, he is already a Grand Slam Champion. He has main-evented last three WrestleManias and is set for another fight this year when he battles Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship.
Reigns is scheduled to win the title at the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania 34. He has already defeated a plethora of superstars to be on the top of the mountain.
In comes Bobby Lashley. The two have never faced each other in the squared circle. A rivalry between two highly acclaimed wrestlers will be a treat for the fans. Both Reigns and Lashley are underrated workhorses who have proved time and again why they can be top wrestlers.
