During his tenure with the WWE, Ahmed Johnson was one of the fastest rising superstars in the company and shortly after his debut in 1995, the former Dallas Cowboys linebacker captured his first championship in the WWE, winning the WWE Intercontinental Title off Goldust in 1996.

Within the next few months, Johnson was on the verge of a massive push as he won a #1 Contender's match for the WWE Championship and prior to his first crack at the WWE Championship, Johnson was unfortunately sidelined with legitimate kidney problems.

However, after returning in late 1996, Johnson eventually joined The Nation of Domination alongside Farooq, Kama Mustafa, and D'Lo Brown and by the end of his storyline with The Nation, Ahmed Johnson finally saw his WWE run come to an end by 1998.

After a short stint with WCW and on the Independent circuit, Ahmed Johnson officially retired from in-ring competition and started working for Booker T and Stevie Ray's Pro Wrestling Alliance wrestling school.

In July 2016, Johnson returned to college and earned a degree in criminology from Huston-Tillotson University.
