Madusa was a female combatant at a time when pro wrestling wasn't exactly kind to women. Before the Attitude Era, women were mainly used as valets or as objects of desire, dating back to the 1980s. She had skill in the ring, but when she was the WWF Women's Champion, barely anyone cared much about that division.

When Madusa moved to WCW, she infamously dumped the WWF title into the trash and was rebranded as a confidante of "Macho Man" Randy Savage. She looked a lot different and still competed in some matches for the company.

The former Alundra Blayze had been at odds with the WWE for years due to her actions with the title, but she was rightfully inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015. She's currently a fixture on the Monster Truck scene but is one of the few remaining women from WCW who could pop up in All Elite Wrestling. She's also a strong-minded presence that would chastise or empower the current generation of women who have it much better than she did.
