Many current and former female wrestlers grew up idolizing Miss Elizabeth. As a woman in the middle of one of the biggest feuds in the history of the business, Elizabeth became a household name and was able to do so with beauty and grace in a time when there was very little female representation in the wrestling industry.
The former star was part of WWE in an era before the Divas of the company descended and was able to be a main part of the rivalry as well as often disappearing into the background whenever needed.
Elizabeth was the main valet for "Macho Man" Randy Savage and this led to a rivalry between her real-life husband and Hulk Hogan when she became the main reason behind the split of The Mega-Powers in 1989.
Despite being one of the most renowned female stars in the history of the company, Elizabeth never wrestled a match and is still yet to take her place alongside Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage in the Hall of Fame.
