Possibly the number one draft in the Superstar Shakeup this year

The 2018 Superstar Shakeup has finally concluded, and SmackDown Live might have the advantage over Raw heading into the rest of the year, and that advantage is Samoa Joe. "The Samoan submission machine" might be one of the best professional wrestlers in WWE today, as Joe can demolish opponents on the mic and destroy them inside the squared circle.

After adding Sin Cara to his list of victims in the company WWE has an immense amount of possible programmes for the former NXT Champion. From dream matches to white-hot showdowns, Samoa Joe has the intensity, passion, and rage to turn any of these potential feuds into the rivalry of the decade.

#1 Jeff Hardy

Hardy vs. Joe is a fed that could elevate the US Title

Last night Jeff Hardy achieved a career milestone by becoming a grand slam champion in the WWE, and many expected Hardy to remain on Raw. However, WWE had other plans, as the new United States Champion made his triumphant return to Smackdown Live.

Now that Hardy is a member of the blue brand his first feud should be against a man he is quite familiar with, Samoa Joe. "The charismatic enigma" vs." The Samoan badass" is a programme that can light Smackdown Live's mid-card division on fire. Therefore, WWE shouldn't waste any time in booking these two icons against each other.

#2 Daniel Bryan

Two Ring of Honor legends facing off one more time

Keeping Daniel Bryan on SmackDown Live is one of the best decisions WWE made in the entire Superstar Shakeup. Bryan can give the blue brand an advantage with his megastar presence, as the quality of his matches and promos are world class.

Although Bryan is currently embroiled in a fued with The Miz and debutant Big Cass, a dream feud with Samoa Joe is the next step in Brayn's comeback story. Samoa Joe and Daniel Bryan had 5-star matches in the past, and now WWE has the chance to present another one.

#3 Shinsuke Nakamura

Joe vs. Nakamura could turn out to be one of the most physical feuds of the year.

A majority of wrestling aficionados would exclaim that this match wouldn't be possible due to their character alignment. However, with the multiple unpredictable routes, WWE have taken in 2018, it will be impossible to tell if the company is going to stick to their typical booking plans.

Therefore, this programme between these two men could be built around one thing which drives them, championship gold. A badass heel vs. a badass heel is an incredibly refreshing idea in a world of clear-cut good guys vs. prototypical villains. Also, Joe and Nakamura have proven in the past that they have excellent chemistry in the ring together.

#4 Randy Orton

A feud with Samoa Joe could rejuvenate Randy Orton

When these two men stood across the ring from each other at the 2017 Survivor Series pay-pay-view, many wrestling fans were extremely excited to witness Samoa Joe and Randy Orton wrestle each other for the first time in their legendary careers.

Therefore, now that Samoa Joe is on SmackDown Live, there is no reason why WWE won't finally put Orton and Joe in a heated programme. Whether it's for championship gold or personal reasons, Orton vs. Joe is a marquee dream match WWE must book to perfection.

#5 AJ Styles

Joe vs. Styles is a headlining feud

There is no other dream match in WWE that more highly anticipated than AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe. These two industry veterans matches have carved a special place in wrestling history. Therefore, WWE needs to book a main event worthy feud between Joe and Styles this year.

"The Samoan submission machine" vs. " The phenomenal one" could be the rivalry that defines Smackdown Live, as the build, the promos, the hype and finally the match will undoubtedly make WWE history as one of the very best.
