#1 Crowning the first ever Women's Tag Team Champions

It was widely speculated that Stephanie McMahon's announcement on Raw would also feature the debut of the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships. While not yet confirmed, it is likely that we will see these titles make their way to our screens. If the reported idea of it being defended across Raw, SmackDown, NXT and NXT UK is true, this could well be an interesting concept.
There are a handful of teams who could feasibly vie for the belts on the WWE main roster. If we do see a tournament, prepare for some thrown-together teams. The likes of the Riott Squad, the IIconics, Absolution and the apparently freshly-reunited Bayley and Sasha Banks could all claim to get the first shot at these titles.
If indeed we do see them introduced, I would not be surprised to see the first championship match to be between Sasha and Bayley, and the IIconics. It could be set up perfectly. On Raw, we got another twist in this never-ending saga between the best friends/bitter enemies as they teamed up and got along fairly well with each other.
It looks like we are not getting that SummerSlam match between the two, which is a shame. Perhaps WWE is waiting for the inception of these titles before pulling the trigger on the feud between Sasha and Bayley.
Peyton Royce and Billie Kay would be great Women's Tag Team Champions as they are inseparable and are great together. We would also see lots of new teams being introduced. Maybe we could get a Bella Twins return as well. Floating across the sea of different WWE brands would be a creative way to give the belts some uniqueness. The possibilities are endless if WWE books it right. The first-ever all women's pay-per-view will be the best place to debut the female tag titles if they are ever going to do it.
WWE Evolution is certainly going to be remembered as a historic night in women's wrestling and these five moments would make the show an even better one.
