Miz verbally assaulted Bryan on Talking Smack

In a 2016 episode of Talking Smack, The Miz cut a savage promo on Daniel Bryan and took a shot at Indy wrestling. Ever since that, wrestling fans wanted a feud between the former NXT rookie and his pro. However, the chances of WWE clearing Bryan to wrestle in a WWE ring were little to none. But to everyone's surprise, Bryan was cleared in 2018.

During superstar shakeup after Wrestlemania 34, WWE traded Miz to Smackdown with the prime objective to reignite his feud with Bryan. WWE could have waited forever to pull the trigger on this, but they didn't and gave a match at Summerslam 2018. This feud is expected to last for some time and if WWE is truly behind this, we could see something spectacular.
