#4 Goldberg’s redemption

After the match The Undertaker and Goldberg put on in Saudi Arabia at the Super ShowDown, both legendary Superstars were looking for a way to redeem themselves.

While The Undertaker did so by teaming up with Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules, Goldberg was looking for a target who he could take down easily and convincingly.

This resulted in Dolph Ziggler stepping up and giving another Superstar a chance to look even mightier than they already are, as Ziggler is said to be a great opponent to put wrestlers over.

In a short match between the two men at SummerSlam, Goldberg was able to lay waste to Ziggler under two minutes, even after eating two Superkicks.

What made things even better for the fans and Goldberg was the courage that Ziggler displayed and took two more spears from Goldberg after the match ended.

WWE did a great job booking Goldberg against Ziggler as his talent, size, and acting skills sold Goldberg’s redemption story to near perfection.

#3 The Viper’s Venom

The result at SummerSlam could prove to be fruitful in the long run
The result at SummerSlam could prove to be fruitful in the long run

Among all the storylines that were supposed to have a conclusion at SummerSlam, it was the story between Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton that we were not prepared to see end after just one match.

Kofi has defended his title against many predators, but Randy Orton seems to be the perfect villain who could dethrone the New Day member. WWE must have gone through many different endings of their match at SummerSlam before deciding to end it in a double count-out.

While most fans were not thrilled with the decision, the SmackDown Live that followed has given us hope that the two future Hall of Famers are not done with each other yet.

This means we will have at least one more mega match between these two men, most probably at Clash of Champions, which could lead to an even bigger storyline going forward.
