The Corporation was undoubtedly one of the best heel factions of all time. The group was created by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. McMahon created the group to put down rebellious Superstars like Stone Cold, Mankind or any other babyface that got in their path.
The faction usually took advantage of their larger numbers. They also used the power of the group's authority figures to provide wrestlers with an advantage in their matches.
The Corporation became the most dominant stable in the company by the end of 1998. At that time, The Corporation managed to capture every title within the company for a brief period of time. The Rock was the WWF Champion, and Big Boss Man, Ken Shamrock, held the Tag Team, Intercontinental, and Hardcore championships.
The Corporation housed some of the biggest names in WWE, including The Rock, Triple H, Chyna, Kane, The Big Show, Test, and Ken Shamrock. All in all, 18 Superstars joined The Corporation at one point or another before it officially disbanded in late April 1999.
