WWE is definitely trying to tell some kind of long term story with Rusev and Aiden English. Remember how Aiden English inadvertently cost both Rusev and Lana their matches? This week, he took the fall so that Rusev Day could pick up the win. I have a feeling he could be responsible in yet another mix up at Hell in a Cell.
And this could potentially lead to Rusev turning on Aiden English in a fit of rage. This could motivate him to become the Bulgarian Brute once again, with Lana by his side. Maybe Rusev could commence on yet another reign of destruction like he did during his early run.
As for Aiden English, I do not know how he will fare as a babyface, without Rusev by his side, honestly. Well, he is almost guaranteed to get a program with Rusev if this turn happens. Beyond that, I have no clue.
