5 Things to note from WWE Elimination Chamber (2020)

#4 Braun Strowman could have another disappointing WrestleMania

One of the most anticipated matches of the night was for the Intercontinental Championship, which was a Handicap match. Braun Strowman had to defend the Intercontinental Title against three other men, making it a difficult task for The Monster Among Men. Even though Strowman showed his grit, the numbers game proved too much for him, and he failed to retain the belt. Sami Zayn was the one, who pinned Strowman at Elimination Chamber.

Winning his first singles title on the main roster, Strowman was speculated to have a lengthy title reign, but it didn't happen. He remained champion for just a few weeks. However, it took three men to dethrone Strowman, keeping his stature as a monster intact.

Strowman hasn't been fortunate to have a relevant match at the Showcase of Immortals, and it looks like the scenario could be the same this year. While he won Andre the Giant Battle Royal match last year, he claimed the RAW Tag Team Titles with a child at WrestleMania 34. After losing the Intercontinental Championship at Elimination Chamber, it is ambiguous if Strowman will take part in an important match in Tampa Bay.
