Can Sami Zayn rebound after his disastrous segment with Bobby Lashley in May?

Let us try to forget that WWE dressed three men up in drag and paraded them around as Bobby Lashley's sisters for a moment. Unfortunately for people trying to defend this segment, it's worse even if you look past that detail. In fact, the segment only succeeded in almost completely burying Bobby Lashley and making Zayn look horrible in the process.

With that being said and the absolute disbelief that WWE would even put something so controversial on television today, it should go without saying that this has to be one of the worst things WWE did in the month of May. It might even be worst of the year depending on what the future holds, but it might be hard to top this blunder.

What makes things even worse however is the fact that the segment negatively affected two superstars that deserve better storylines and better booking then this. WWE obviously is trying to overdo The Sami Zayn heel character in a way to garner nuclear heat, but it just looks too desperate to take seriously.

As for Lashley, this was a man that was supposed to eventually take The Universal title from Brock Lesnar and WWE decides to dress up three men in drag and parade them around as his sisters? If that wasn't humiliating and career killing enough for Lashley, he also struggled to get fans on his side during the segment, which could be a huge flaw WWE overlooked.
