Heading into Money in the Bank, the feud between Styles and Nakamura became one of only four other rivalries in the modern era to have been given four consecutive pay-per-views to tell the story in one on one matches.

After Nakamura opted to cash in his Royal Rumble win on Styles, their feud began at WrestleMania and has now gone through The Greatest Royal Rumble, Backlash, and Money in the Bank.

The feuds between Randy Orton and John Cena back in 2009, Cena and Batista in 2012 and Cena and Orton in 2013 all went through four pay-per-views as well, but the title changed hands in all three feuds before this one.
When Styles defeated Nakamura last night in their Last Man Standing match, this became the first feud to span over four WWE pay-per-views without seeing a title change.
