Kofi Kingston was chosen to take part in Money in the Bank
After weeks of the WWE Universe speculating that it would be Big E who was in the Money in the Bank ladder match for The New Day, the trio actually chose Kofi Kingston to represent them, and in doing so he was able to equal Kane's record of appearing in seven Money in the Bank ladder matches.
Kingston's loss means that he has been in more ladder matches than any other superstar in WWE history without a win since Kane was able to lift the case back in 2010.
Chris Jericho had also been in six Money in the Bank ladder matches, but Kingston's appearance last night means that he is able to overtake Y2J now as well.
This isn't a stat that any superstar would actually have wanted and judging by the bump that Kingston took in the closing stages of the match, he won't be in any hurry to step into another Money in the Bank ladder match in the future.
