#4 New tag team champions could mean new tag team focus

This week on WWE Raw, a surprising title change took place when the team of Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross defeated The IIconics, The Kabuki Warriors and Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville in a fatal four way match to become the new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions.

The win for Bliss and Cross came at a time when the Women's tag titles were rarely being defended on TV, and the heel IIconics, who previously held the titles, were losing TV matches and dodging title defenses in a storyline which saw little TV time or significance.

With Bliss and Cross winning the Women's tag titles, the team can continue their ongoing storyline, but now as defending champions.

It remains to be seen where The IIconics will head after their tag title loss on Raw this week, but with Cross and Bliss capturing the gold, WWE might be looking to add more plans for the Women's tag titles.
