The year 2020 once seemed like it would be a great year for WWE Superstar Mojo Rawley. He started the year as a heel on the RAW brand who was suffering from a lack of direction for his character. But his fortune quickly turned around. On the March 13, 2020, episode of SmackDown, Rawley somewhat turedn face by making a blockbuster announcement.

Rawley revealed that NFL star Rob Gronkowski would be joining WWE. Rawley would then receive another WrestleMania moment whe he won the WWE 24/7 Championship. Shortly thereafter, Rawley lost the title to Gronkowski.

Unfortunately, Gronkowski decided to leave the WWE to resume his NFL career. Without "Gronk" by his side, it seemed like the WWE creative team struggled to come up with a new plan for Rawley.

Rawley's last appearance on TV came in June 2020. He reverted to his role as a heel, and he lost a match to Chad Gable. In the 2020 WWE Draft, Rawley wasn't even included in the pool.

As of this writing, Rawley hasn't been seen on television in roughly eight months. It's unclear what his future holds, so fans will have to wait and see what happens next.
