2: Abbey Laith
Laith oozes talent with a swathe of experience through various wrestling promotions, from Shine and Shimmer, to Chikara. Now signed with NXT from January, it is obvious that WWE see massive potential. An interesting narrative throughout the tournament, was a symbolic handing of the torch from Mae Young to Laith. With both at the same age, they show a similar look and physique, and the use of the 'Alligator Clutch' is certainly a hats off to the late great aforementioned.
If Laith builds on her current momentum, she could find herself in the NXT title picture before the end of this year. Don't be fooled by her ballerina background, she can certainly punch her way to the top.
