He might be retired now, but it's clear that every character has to go through an evolutionary process. The same applies to Big E, who has had the same character for a good part of four-and-a-half years.
At some point, things are going to change. While it's easy to push him as a babyface in the pandemic era of WWE where there are no crowd reactions (or legitimate ones, anyway), but once the crowds eventually return, there's no guarantee that Big E is going to be a cheered babyface. We could end up seeing him turn heel en route to a main event run.
