#4 Mr McMahon's death and illegitimate son
In 2007, the WWE planned to make Mr Kennedy a huge star. The storyline oddly began with the death of Mr McMahon, who was storyline killed by an exploding limo. The conclusion of the story was set to reveal that McMahon had faked his death in order to leave the company to his illegitimate son, Mr Kennedy.
This would've led to a huge program between Triple H and Mr Kennedy. The storyline was quickly dropped following the double murder suicide of Chris Benoit, forcing Mr McMahon to appear on TV and address the matter.
Inexplicably, the WWE decided to continue with the "who's McMahon's son" portion of the storyline, and even more inexplicably, that son was revealed to be Hornswoggle. Mr Kennedy was removed from contention when his name showed up on the list of wrestlers associated with the 2007 signature pharmacy scandal.
