Aleister Black is one of the several WWE Superstars on the main roster who have reportedly expressed a desire to go back to NXT for some time. That hasn't happened yet but it might be a great idea for him to return to NXT.

Aleister Black is a former NXT Champion and it would be amazing if he returns to the brand and challenges the current NXT Champion Finn Balor. Black could either stay on the brand for some time like Finn Balor is doing ever since his return to NXT in late 2019. Or he could come back to the main roster after a few months, all fresh.

One of the likeliest scenarios for the return of Aleister Black is him coming back at the upcoming WWE Royal Rumble 2021 pay-per-view as a surprise entrant in the men's match. Royal Rumble has traditionally been used as a platform for Superstars to return on the Road to WrestleMania and the same could be the case with Aleister Black. The question is, will WWE book him all the way to win this year's match?
