Match at Hell in a Cell

The WWE United States Championship is not currently scheduled to be defended at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. Over the past few weeks, current champion Sheamus has been fending off both Ricochet and Humberto Carillo, two men who clearly want his title.

Sheamus could the duo in a triple threat match at Hell in a Cell, but the champion recently showed off his injuries from his latest match with Carrillo in a post on his Twitter page. As a result, he could be out of action for a short amount of time. Sheamus hasn't commented on the extent of his injuries or how much time he might have to miss. In the photos, he clearly has a black eye and a bandaged nose.

Because Sheamus might miss some television time, a match to determine his next challenger could be held at WWE Hell in a Cell. This bout could also be an opportunity to establish some new stars on the RAW roster, which has felt somewhat stale. By giving Ricochet or Carrillo a pay-per-view victory, WWE could bring one of these young stars to the next level.
