5 matches that must headline WrestleMania 35

Wrestle Mania is rumored to head to the Big Apple

Well, while we are still getting ready to witness the colossal event that is Wrestle Mania 34, some major news just broke out that Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey is likely to host Wrestle Mania 35. 'The Showcase of the Immortals' presents superstars with an opportunity of a lifetime to walk down that aisle and, etch themselves in history.

Almost all the matches that happen at Wrestle Mania are considered special in their own denomination but, the most significant of them all is the main event, the match that closes the show and while the WWE Universe has been disappointed & mad with the past main event's, WWE must try and sell the fans a match that genuinely feels like a headliner.

Here are the 5 matches that must headline Wrestle Mania 35

#5 John Cena Vs Braun Strowman in an 'I Quit' Match

Thi
This match will definitely happen somewhere down the line

Braun Strowman has taken WWE by storm by his unending viciousness & monstrous personality and while the fans & critics did not receive him well in his initial days with the company, 'the Monster Among Men' has improved as a character & has definitely grown over the hardcore fan base. The monster is regularly seen throwing his opponents around and destroying the backstage area.

He will definitely have a lot of momentum heading into Wrestle Mania 34 & while he will still remain a top guy in 2018, it would be a definite possibility that he squares off against 'the 16-time World Champion' at a big PPV. A feud of this caliber definitely needs a Wrestle Mania showdown and this could happen next year. 'Big Match' John does not have many years left in his tank & would like to reciprocate what he got from the company & the best way to do that would be to clash with Braun Strowman at 'the Grandest Stage of Them All'.

An 'I Quit' Match should be the way to go & does seem like a legitimate contender for headlining Wrestle Mania next year. Braun Strowman's viciousness Vs John's 'Never Give Up' philosophy would be an ideal way to book this match and, have the fans genuinely invested in a colossal bout like this.

#4 Triple H Vs the Rock

This
Two of the biggest stars collide at the Grandest Stage of Them All

This match is a dream bout for all the fans of the WWE who have grown up idolizing the Attitude Era which is still considered the era that changed the whole scheme of wrestling and, these two legends have a very big role in revolutionizing the business & turn it into the global phenomenon that it is today. Triple H Vs The Rock is enough to sell the whole Met Life Stadium and, would definitely be an exciting moment to see two of the greatest go against each other for one final time.

While the Rock certainly has a busier schedule considering his popularity in Hollywood, it seems likely that 'the People's Champion' might come back for one final match at 'the Showcase of the Immortals' and if he does, then it would be ideal to have him face 'the Cerebral Assassin'. The match deserves to happen and since the last genuine match of Rock came at Wrestle Mania 29, WWE will do everything to push the envelope with him for this match and set a solid headliner for Wrestle Mania 35.

#3 Daniel Bryan Vs Shinsuke Nakamura (If Bryan loses, he retires)

T
This will be a classic

Shinsuke Nakamura & Daniel Bryan are two of the greatest wrestlers on the planet and have constantly elevated the standard of wrestling with their versatile in-ring abilities. 'The King of Strong Style' definitely has the WWE Universe on his side especially after winning the Royal Rumble and, while Daniel Bryan may be in an unfortunate situation as of now, it seems genuinely possible that he might wrestle for one last time considering he gets cleared by the WWE doctors which is difficult but, not impossible.

If by any means, 'the Leader of the Yes Movement' is allowed to wrestle, then it should definitely be the guy he has always admired in the ring. Imagine the capability of a match of this caliber; two gifted artists trying to tear the roof off the place with their immense versatility between the ropes. WWE must sell a match of this potential as Daniel Bryan's final match and, with both the superstars being crowd favorites, it would be great to see Bryan walk down that aisle for the final time & face the Artist in his final match.

#2 AJ Styles Vs Finn Balor vs Kenny Omega for the WWE Championship

A match for the ages

If there is any match that should happen at Wrestle Mania 35, it must be AJ Styles Vs Finn Balor Vs Kenny Omega for the most coveted prize on the blue brand. These three have so much history together that it would be a big loss for the company to not have a match of this potential somewhere down the line. Kenny Omega is no longer a part of the Bullet Club which definitely hints that his days with NJPW are becoming numbered now. Fast forward to 2019 and, the man might enter the Royal Rumble and bring the house down with a shocking appearance.

While Finn Balor has joined hands with his former Bullet Club members, Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows, it seems like an ideal time for Finn to turn heel & move to SmackDown to have a path-breaking feud with 'The Phenomenal One'. This definitely could be the feud of the year and, with the inclusion of 'the Cleaner', Kenny Omega, WWE has a show- stopper in their hands which could be remembered for generations to come. This match is my pick for headlining Wrestle Mania 35 next year which would be an ideal situation to elevate young superstars who have proven versatility in the ring.

#1 Roman Reigns Vs Seth Rollins Vs Dean Ambrose for the Universal Championship

T
This might be the main event next year

Well, talking about history, the Shield is the most dominant force in the WWE and has elevated three young performers who had the passion & willingness to carry the business of wrestling ahead. There's no denying that these three superstars are the future of WWE and will definitely face each other in a Triple-threat match at Wrestle Mania some day. But, it seems likely that the time for a Shield triple-threat could arrive next year considering 'the Lunatic Fringe' would return after Wrestle Mania 34 and, might be booked strongly once he arrives.

Imagining a possibility of a heel turn by the Lunatic could set things straight for a break-up of the Shield and, would definitely bring new life to the WWE, with an arrogant heel leading from the front. This feud would not only bring back these superstars in the main event picture but would also tear the roof off the place with the beautiful story that these men have shared. 'The Big Dog' is the golden boy of the WWE & if the company plans him to headline Wrestle Mania 35 again, then this should be the match they book.
