If Roman Reigns headlines WrestleMania 35, he will have closed the show for the fifth consecutive year! That is quite a statistic considering he made his main roster debut only 6 years ago in 2012! Only Shawn Michaels, The Rock, John Cena (all 5 times), Triple H (7) and Hulk Hogan (8) have main evented WrestleMania more number of times than The Big Dog.

Reigns should not main event WrestleMania for the simple reason that the WWE Universe hasn't accepted his inorganic push by the WWE creative team, and that he was booed the last time he main evented the show against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 34.

Rumours suggest that he may face The Rock or Braun Strowman; the former is a WWE icon, but only a part-time wrestler, while the latter has been made a heel when the crowd was behind him (which may upset the crowd once again and perhaps tell the WWE creative team how they feel about the booking).

Unless it is the much-anticipated triple threat match between Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, the crowd may not be up for it and it wouldn't make for great viewing pleasure!
