AJ Styles and Samoa Joe have been battling each other for over 12 years.
A few people were worried when Samoa Joe was announced as the new challenger for AJ Styles’ WWE Championship because of how WWE ruined the AJ Styles/Shinsuke feud this year but the Styles/Joe rivalry has been booked amazingly so far. Joe has proven to be quite a roadblock in AJ Styles’ path to success. Their match at Summerslam was great and the rivalry only got personal during the match after Joe involved AJ’s family, causing AJ to lose his cool and hit Joe with the Steel Chair, getting himself disqualified in the process.

Now, this rivalry is far from over and the two are confirmed to battle at Hell in a Cell for the WWE Championship. This match will most likely be the main event from Smackdown’s side and that too for the WWE title. Two of the top superstars of Smackdown would be representing Smackdown in the match so what else does this match need to be considered worthy enough to take place inside The Cell? Absolutely nothing, and that is why this match should and must be a Hell in a Cell match.

Ali Siddiqui is a listicle and feature writer for Sportskeeda Wrestling since 2018. After completing his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, he decided to write for Sportskeeda Wrestling after learning about it through a friend. He briefly worked for The Sportster as well.
Ali's love for pro wrestling dates back to when Randy Orton won a Battle Royal to become the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam 2004. His current favorite wrestler is Cody Rhodes because he's the ultimate throwback babyface. He believes Rhodes has the Surfer Sting's passion, Bret Hart's prop-gifting schtick, a catchy theme like Hogan's, and a kid-friendly demeanor akin to John Cena's.
When he is not doing research for his articles on Google or catching up with the latest in pro wrestling, Ali can be found honing his Data Science and AI skills as he strives to get back into tech in the near future.
