Finn Balor keeps his friends close and his enemies closer

Finn Balor has been one of the top Superstars in NXT since his return to the brand and the former Universal Champion has helped build some of the top rivalries to keep the fans entertained.

The WWE Universe has gotten even more interested in NXT since the return of The Prince to the brand, and Superstars like Matt Riddle, Johnny Gargano, and Cameron Grimes have enjoyed the right type of rub from the Superstar.

Damian Priest has tried to get his hands on the NXT North American Championship but failed a couple of times, after which he has now set his eyes on Balor to get the right push to rise to the top.

Priest attacked Balor backstage a few weeks ago, after which he cost The Prince a match against Grimes and attacked him after the match to make a huge statement.

While Balor may have been down at the end of the segment, there is no way he will be out, as he has put down the mightest heels of NXT since his return to the brand.

With that in mind, NXT must book a huge match for the WWE Universe involving The Prince of NXT and The Archer of Infamy. Priest is looking to become the next top man on the Black and Gold brand, so a match against Balor will help him get on top and possibly get in contention for the NXT Championship down the road.

TakeOver: In Your House could be the best place for Priest to score a huge victory over a former Universal Champion to become a top player on NXT.
