5 Mistakes That Could Bog Down Summerslam

The rivalry we need after Summerslam.

I swear to God I was the happiest guy in the whole World when Becky Lynch became the #1 Contender to the Blue Brand's Women Title. My excitement, however, took a slight hit when Charlotte returned and was inserted to the match.

However, what hit me worst was the fact that, with both Becky and Charlotte holding a victory over Carmella on Smackdown, there is a very good chance that Mella has a good chance of leaving Brooklyn still holding the title. Could it get any worse than this?

Mella is good on the mic, I agree with that, and she is a good entertainer. But she is not a good wrestler. Ever since winning the Women's Title, Mella has wrestled three below-par PPV matches and has shown no sign of improvements so far. This is not who you want from one of your Champions when you are promoting your first ever Women exclusive event.

WWE has two better, actually lot better, options in Becky and Flair to hold that title. While a long due win for Becky would be one of those feel-good moments, a Charlotte win would be equally good especially if it leads to a feud between the two friends in the post Summerslam period. Mella experiment failed, and it would be horrendous to continue it beyond Summerslam.
