5 Mistakes That Could Bog Down Summerslam

This feud had immense success written all over it.

WWE shocked the entire wrestling fraternity when the entire Smackdown roster was snubbed from the poster of Summerslam poster. It is abundantly clear that WWE doesn't consider Raw and Smackdown as equal, but this is the poster of a major pay per view For God's Sake. At least the WWE Title match should have been promoted on the poster.

And this is where the fear of the fans of the Blue Brands start rising to a whole new level. The WWE Title, despite being promoted as the most prestigious title in the industry, has not been promoted like that in the past months despite being held by AJ Styles.

To make the matters worse, the feud between Styles and Samoa Joe is not even being treated as the top feud on the blue brand. This is just bringing back all the memories from 2011, and this is not good for the title and the Blue Brand. We all know Joe v Styles is not going to be in the main event(It's not even on the poster), but WWE can certainly do a lot worse with that match, and this is what creeps the hell out of me.

The match deserves to be either the penultimate match or maybe third to last on the card. Anything below that would hamper the rest of the card, and that would be a big, big disaster for the company. Styles vs Joe is a big deal for hardcore fans, and it would be a big mistake if they are not given plenty of time and a prominent spot on the Summerslam card.
