Believe it or not, this whole thing started off as a two-on-one handicap match that pitted Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre against Strowman.

Unfortunately for Corbin, Stephanie McMahon overruled that and made it a six-man tag team match that added Corbin, Finn Balor and Elias to the mix.

In a last-ditch effort to give himself an advantage, Corbin announced that it would be an elimination match, but the move seemed out of nowhere and convoluted.

Beyond that, it made the matches outcome really predictable, which really took away from what WWE could have done with the segment if they didn't make it so transparent.

In the end, Strowman came out looking like a huge babyface and that's probably what the company ultimately wanted, but it came in the form of one of the most ill-booked matches that the company has done in quite a while. Furthermore, it wasn't even very entertaining either.
