What exactly went wrong with this rivalry? WWE took 2 full years to sow the seeds of this rivalry, and even brought back Daniel Bryan to the ring after 3 years, but everything has gone down-hill ever since the two of them stepped in the ring together at SummerSlam 2018. While their match at SummerSlam was good, it wasn't the classic we were expecting from these two veterans.

To bring the rivalry to an awfully low level, WWE decided to include the wives of both these performers, and made them the center of focus ahead of the mixed tag match at Hell in a Cell. This obviously was disappointing.

Now WWE and these two performers have one more opportunity to make amends for everything that has transpired so far, and that is by bringing this rivalry to a halt with a clean finish at Super Show-Down.

It doesn't matter who wins, because both results will lead to dream feuds in the future. But a screwy finish would definitely earn a lot of flak from the WWE Universe. Also, it would only hamper Daniel Bryan's record since his return, which is something no one wants to see.
