While this partnership may seem a little bit random, these two actually have history together. Ember Moon made her main roster debut the night after WrestleMania 34, where she teamed with Raw Women's Champion Nia Jax.

They could build off of that chemistry in search of Jax gaining yet another championship, and a rematch against Alexa Bliss and Mickie James would probably be a good way to start things off - especially if they run a tournament.
You could build up the idea that these two are physically and athletically superior to everyone else on Raw and SmackDown Live, meaning that whoever dethrones them will get a pretty big rub as a result.
Jax is still continuing to grow as an in-ring performer and Moon is still trying to find her character, so it makes sense for them to learn from each other.
