#3 Drake Maverick's wedding
Drake Maverick seemed like a very small player in the grand scheme of things, but his importance to the overall story of the 24/7 Title picture was amplified when he mentioned that he was getting married. This all happened while Maverick and several other Superstars were trapped in an elevator. Who would have guessed that this seemingly insignificant one-off joke would it would become a full blown storyline for the diminutive Superstar?
Maverick won the title a week or so later from R-Truth, jumped into his car and drove off to his aforementioned wedding as excited as a young boy on Christmas. Of course Truth would go on a mission to win his title back, which ultimately resulted in him crashing Maverick's wedding, and pinning him just seconds after the couple said their "I dos". But the best was still to come.
After Maverick's title loss, he seemed to become consumed with winning the title back. He even refused to consummate his marriage with his wife until he had The 24/7 Title back around his waist. He constantly ignored his wife in comedic fasion in order to win back the title, which was just icing on the cake.
It was a great side plot to explore and gave fans young and old something ridiculous to enjoy.
