These WWE Superstars are truly dangerous

The WWE has had several dangerous Superstars over the course of its long and storied history. We've witnessed several notable performers such as Andre the Giant, Hulk Hogan, The Rock, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Kane, The Undertaker, etc., strike fear in the hearts of their opponents with their aura of danger and strength.

With that being said, even in today's PG version of professional wrestling, there are several Superstars who manage to keep that "dangerous" element of their on-screen persona intact, and terrorize their opponent, whilst still ensuring that they don't violate the company's PG guidelines.

Today, we take a look at some of the most dangerous WWE Superstars in the men's division right now. The criteria for said Superstar to be considered "dangerous" in the competitive sense, has also been expounded upon in the following discussion...So, without further ado, to quote the legendary Michael Buffer -- Let's get ready to rumble!

#5 Lars Sullivan Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman is "The Monster Among Men"

But, but, why did you cancel out Lars Sullivan's name? Well, I knew you'd have that question! As of this time, the biggest issue with including Lars Sullivan in today's discussion of ours, is that he simply hasn't put in enough miles for his main roster persona to have clicked with the WWE Universe.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to slight Sullivan. After all, "The Freak" is presently one of the most impressive athletes in the professional wrestling world. However, with the news of him now being injured, and likely to miss out on in-ring action; it's better that we don't include him in this list.

Nevertheless, Braun Strowman -- a man similar in the monster persona realm -- is in fact one of the most dangerous WWE Superstars in the men's division right now.

Strengths and Weaknesses:

In latest WWE NEWS, "The Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman has both the look as well as the athleticism to work as a top monster heel/intimidating babyface for the WWE.

Regardless, the problem with Strowman is that he has lost several big title matches, and never seems to reach the top spot in the WWE. As a result, Strowman is now stuck in a directionless role, bereft of any meaningful feud.

#4 Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins is intelligent and agile
Seth Rollins is intelligent and agile

When you speak about dangerous WWE Superstars, the name Seth Rollins doesn't really come to mind. In fact, Rollins would come off as one of the most non-threatening people, if you are to meet him outside the ring, especially if you aren't familiar with this beloved Superstar.

However, much like the old adage teaches us -- Don't judge a book by its cover. Rollins is, beyond the shadow of a doubt, one of the most brilliant minds in the professional wrestling industry today.

Strengths and Weaknesses:

Seth Rollins is masterful both as a babyface as well as when he plays the evil heel, with his unique laughter which he typically uses when he cuts a promo as a heel. "The Architect" knows exactly how to draw heat when he plays the villain, and support when he is the hero.

But there are two sides to a coin, and Rollins, much like the rest of us, isn't perfect. Perhaps the biggest weakness of this talented WWE Superstar is the monotony of his on-screen character when he's a babyface. Granted that he does what he's told, but Rollins -- as dangerous and successful as he is -- seems to become highly monotonous when it comes to his promos as a babyface.

#3 Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre is as deadly as a Superstar could possibly be

"The Scottish Psychopath" Drew McIntyre has been on fire ever since returning to the WWE, after having parted ways with the company and worked on the indies for a few years. McIntyre used his time away from WWE to dramatically transform his physique, and came back as an absolutely jacked behemoth of an individual.

McIntyre has lately been involved in a feud against Roman Reigns, where Shane McMahon has been using McIntyre as a part of his crew, in The McMahon Family's long-running on-again, off-again rivalry against Reigns.

Strengths and Weaknesses:

Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns will face each other at the WWE Stomping Grounds PPV this weekend, and needless to say, the Superstar who wins this matchup will likely go on to eventually challenge Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship. Moreover, McIntyre not only looks intimidating, but his cunning and opportunistic mentality is what makes him truly dangerous.

I'd like to hark back to a point I'd noted about Braun Strowman earlier, regarding "The Monster Among Men" failing to get over that final hurdle. Similarly, McIntyre too -- despite possessing most of the requisite qualities to be a headlining Superstar -- has failed to capture a World Title in the WWE.

#2 Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns is as dangerous as they come

"The Big Dog" Roman Reigns is not only a hero on our TV screens, but also one in real-life. The proud, hard-working cancer survivor is a shining example of what fearlessness and perseverance looks like.

Reigns is currently involved in a heated rivalry opposite Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon, with a few other McMahon cronies such as Elias and The Revival (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder) adding to The Big Dog's woes.

Strengths and Weaknesses:

While Superstars such as Braun Strowman and Drew McIntyre have that monster heel persona to them, Roman Reigns is one of the more down-to-earth characters in professional wrestling today. What makes Reigns one of the most dangerous competitors in WWE right now isn't simply his physical strength, but his "never say die" attitude.

But with that being said, the biggest criticism against The Big Dog (no pun intended) as of late, is that his loss to Shane McMahon at WWE Super ShowDown in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is a blemish on his career.

Reigns desperately needs to avenge that loss, and do so in style, or else he'll always be remembered as the top Superstar who got absolutely 'buried' by Shane O'Mac of all people.

#1 Cesaro

Cesaro is truly superhuman
Cesaro is truly superhuman

Have you guys noticed something as of late? Cesaro has found his groove, now that The Bar is seemingly done, and he's competing as a singles Superstar on Raw. With former tag team partner Sheamus temporarily stepping away from in-ring competition, Cesaro debuted new entrance music, and has been getting a considerable amount of screen time as of late.

It's no secret that "The Swiss Superman" is one of the most athletic performers in all of sports and entertainment, and has enjoyed a niche following among the hardcore pro wrestling fans for several years.

Strengths and Weaknesses:

Cesaro has been blessed with superhuman strength, power and agility. Furthermore, he has significantly improved in the promo department as well, and can now go toe-to toe with the best of them on the mic!

It wouldn't be an overstatement to say that Cesaro is one of the most dangerous Superstars in WWE today. However the WWE constantly having him face random opponents, instead of booking him to be World Champion, has been killing whatever momentum this talented Superstar seems to build up.
