Savage and Yokozuna were the last two men standing during the 1993 Royal Rumble match, with the winner going on to challenge the WWF Champion Bret Hart at that year's WrestleMania. Savage had the match won after hitting the flying elbow drop on "the Great Kokina". However, rather than capitalizing on the moment to throw Yokozuna out of the ring, Savage pinned him. In a Royal Rumble match. Yokozuna obviously kicked out of the move, causing Savage to launch himself in hilarious fashion over the top rope to clinch Yokozuna's win.
