Money in the Bank is the most loved PPV for the main roster apart from the Big 4. There were even talks of including it with the Big 4 and make it grander but WWE decided to keep it the way it is.

We are getting closer to this year's edition of the PPV. The Women's Money in the Bank match is definitely going to happen but it's for WWE to decide whether they want a single briefcase for men or separate contracts for both RAW and SmackDown. It's always exciting to see who wins the contract and how they cash-in.

MITB matches were earlier held on WrestleMania but were given a separate PPV in 2010. It has since provided a lot of moments, some of which are presented below.

Paul Heyman's relationship with CM Punk is well documented. He is the guy that brought CM Punk to the limelight and took him under his wing when nobody believed in him. He was a very vocal supporter of Punk when the future "Best in the World" was on the verge of getting fired from the company.

Their relationship was woven into a storyline and Heyman started accompanying Punk in his matches. Punk took a hiatus from the WWE TV for a few months after his loss against the Undertaker at WrestleMania.

When Punk came back as a face, he wanted to walk his own path. He tried to convince Heyman not to accompany him anymore. This led to frustration building up in Heyman. And, when Punk was about to unhook the MITB contract, Heyman backstabbed him with a ladder.

This was a shocking moment in itself but it leads to a match between the "Beast" Brock Lesnar and the "Best in the World" CM Punk makes it memorable.

He swept Swagger away and brought along his MITB contract and told the referee that he was cashing in his contract. He subsequently won the match and became the new World Heavyweight Champion.

This match was the first time any superstar cashed-in the contract on the very same night of winning the briefcase. It set the record for the fastest cash-in which stood for years to come until...

This is one of the most iconic moments concerning the namesake Money in the Bank Ladder matches. It doesn't mean that others weren't memorable, but it made the list because of how much impact it created. The women's revolution was in full swing and hence WWE decided to give the women their own briefcase.

The match in itself is quite monumental but is infamous for its finish. It was a historic moment for the women superstars but the finish saw James Ellsworth of all people grabbing the briefcase and handing it to Carmella. It caught the WWE Universe on the wrong side as they voicd their displeasure on every social media platform possible.

WWE realized their mistake and redid the match on SmackDown, but history was made. A man unhooked the briefcase that was meant for the women. All said and done, it became a moment to remember, although not in a good way.
