#4 Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels (2010)

Career vs Streak
Career vs Streak

This was the best on-going feuds during Wrestlemania 26, and adding the 'Streak vs Career' stipulation just made it even more engaging. This was a match between two all-time legends, and WWE has still not been able to top this in retiring someone.

Undertaker and Michaels pointed that if booked properly, then two wrestlers who are past their prime can still pull out an almost 5-star match.

The build-up itself was splendid, with Shawn getting desperate for a rematch against the Deadman from Wrestlemania 25. In the process, he even cost him his World Heavyweight Championship and put his career on the line.

This was the last match of Shawn Michaels in WWE (not counting Crown Jewel) and it was perfect. There was no better way to give him a farewell other than this: letting Mr. Wrestlemania headline a Wrestlemania and by putting on a glorious show.

#3 Undertaker's Symbolic "Retirement" (2017)

A Symbolic Retirement
A Symbolic Retirement

After losing to Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 33, The Undertaker removed his coat, gloves, and hat, and placed them in the center of the ring as he left the arena. This gesture left the whole WWE Universe, in shock as no one expected this from the Deadman.

While many had been speculating about his retirement during that period, not many were prepared to let such a huge part of their childhoods go.

It was painfully obvious that age had crawled up on the 52-year-old phenom, whose perfect mark at wrestling’s biggest event had been defaced three years earlier by a defeat suffered at the hands of Brock Lesnar.

We now know that it didn't mean anything as he went on to have multiple matches in 2018 including a squash match against John Cena at Wrestlemania 34, but that sheer moment when Undertaker broke his character and thanked the entire stadium was both fascinating and emotional at the same time, and it gave fans goosebumps.

Not many remember the lackluster match between him and Reigns but this image is embedded in everyone's mind like their spouse's name.
