#1 The New Day, arguably the greatest WWE trio of the decade, is split up for good

WWE stunned the wrestling fraternity during the 2020 Draft when it was announced that Big E would be staying in the SmackDown brand while Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston would be moving to RAW, presumably to bolster the tag team division.

Even though the move seems to have worked, if you consider that the year ended with Big E being crowned the brand new WWE Intercontinental Champion, it was one of the most heartbreaking moments of the year.

The dismay that was seen on the faces of all three New Day members when they found out that an era was coming to an end seemed genuine. The New Day name has thankfully not been dropped (considering how much revenue the brand has generated for WWE) over the years, and all three men are still in important positions in the roster.
