Devitt's iconic entrance from Wrestle Kingdom 8
This was the last time Prince Devitt competed at the Tokyo Dome as part of NJPW’s biggest annual event, that is, Wrestle Kingdom and Devitt’s amazing Carnage entrance itself deserves a standing ovation.

This match is definitely one of the most underrated Wrestle Kingdom matches of all time, and despite the early interferences from Doc Gallows and The Young Bucks, and a powerbomb to the outside from Karl Anderson, Ibushi somehow managed to keep himself into the contest.
He eventually fought off the entire Bullet Club all by himself, all thanks to his quick, high-flying athleticism.

However, the momentum of the match changed once the entire BC was ejected from ringside area and despite hitting with the Bloody Sunday and the Coupe de Grace, Devitt couldn’t get the victory thanks to Ibushi’s brilliant resiliency, much to ‘The Rock ‘n’ Rolla’s’ agony.
Ibushi then in a similar manner connected with the Sit-out Powerbomb and followed it up with the Phoenix Splash, to get the win over Devitt and win the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship in the process.
