Damian Priest rocketed to WWE stardom in 2020. He won the NXT North American Championship, and he became one of the brand's most prominent competitors. This successful run has prepared Priest for his call-up to the main roster. "The Archer of Infamy" was seemingly written off NXT after his recent loss to Karrion Kross, so he could be on his way to WWE RAW or WWE SmackDown.
Breaking Vince Russo and Jim Cornette update HERE.
In the last few weeks, various reports have suggested that Priest will get called up to the main roster. He was set to share the ring with Roman Reigns for a segment on WWE SmackDown, but these plans changed at the last minute. Still, it's evident that Priest's time in NXT is probably over.
As we reported today on Fightful Select, Damian Priest has been planned for a call-up. However, we've seen plenty of those end up in people not debuting for months.

Since Priest hasn't appeared on the main roster yet, he could debut at WWE Royal Rumble. He probably won't win the match, but he could impress the fans with a standout performance. That way, he'll be set up to succeed in his first few weeks on the main roster.

While Edge was a despised villain for the majority of his first run with WWE, Zain loved his commitment to the character. He admired his ability to narrate a compelling story with his subtle moves and actions inside the ring. He believes no one in the business has come close to the Hall of Famer in terms of staying true to their on-screen gimmick.
If Zain were to book an eye-catching WWE angle, he would pit Cody Rhodes against CM Punk. Zain would have Rhodes highlight Punk’s hypocrisy in coming back to the global juggernaut. Their interaction would lead to Punk turning heel and engaging in a high-profile match with The American Nightmare at a Big Four Premium Live Event.
