Konnor and Viktor probably look at their WWE career and wish that they were never promoted to the main roster. There was a time when The Ascension were one of the best tag teams in NXT and are still the longest reigning Tag Team Champions, but they haven't had the same kind of effect on the main roster.

Much like many teams that were once stand out's in NXT, The Ascension became something completely different on SmackDown and now on Raw and they have been unable to find their feet. Their most recent feud has seen them pick up a number of wins against Chad Gable and Bobby Roode, but this is at the expense of two other former NXT stars and it's unknown where this is heading for either team.

It's obvious that the creative team on the main roster have no idea what to do with The Ascension, so why don't they head back to NXT and allow Triple H to take control?
